a list of binaries generated during my third semester of my MA SODA at the HZT in Berlin

  1. I am curious about your intention in using binaries. To reveal assumptions? To spark debate? To bait contrarians like myself?

  2. My intention in using binaries is to create a clearer understanding of the terms somatic and compositional. I do not understand why some modalities are considered somatic and some not. A location in space can come from awarenesses from Ensemble Thinking or from investigating one's lymphatic system. I could send you my semester's presentation if you wish.

Granted a binary might be somewhat simplistic, but with enough binaries a complex idea or system can be understood. By breaking a complex idea down into binaries, I can reveal my own assumptions. Also debate might be sparked. And as for contrarians...they will be baited by anything! ;)
